My P90X Story:

I began P90X May 31st, 2010 at a “husky” 260 lbs. I had lost so much muscle and gained so much fat that I no longer looked like the fit “me” I remembered from high-school. I had a 40″ waist and a 1 1/2 year-old son who I could barely keep up with. Something had to change!

I saw the infomercial and thought it looked like a fun system, since it looked semi-crazy… the kind of thing that could keep my interest. I saw IMMEDIATE results – muscle starting building and inches started dropping.

I built MAJOR muscle during the first 8 weeks, despite the fact that my weight wasn’t going down! I realize looking back that I was building the muscle and metabolism that would help me SHRED the weight during weeks 9-13!

The scale was not my friend at first, actually going up to 267 over the first 7 weeks or so. I eventually dropped back to 260 and by the end of the 90 days, I was 243 – 24 lbs lost over the last 4 weeks! I had a 35″ waist and my clothes were falling off of me! My arms built from 17 1/2″ to a whopping 20″ – something I never expected!
